Robotic inspection of water filled tanks

There’s no reason to halt production to inspect an accumulator tank. Instead of dumping the contents we can inspect it with our ROV which reduces the downtime to a minimum. The only requirement is that the water temperature is lowered to 55 °. In this way, you save both large amounts of energy and money. In addition, it is significantly better from an environmental point of view. The entire inspection can be performed visually and with the help of our ROV.

Planned robot inspections provide a better economy in the long term and reduce the risk of downtime. In addition, you do not have to replace parts and materials prematurely - all components can be in operation for their entire service life.

This is included in a basic inspection:

• Inspection of internal walkways.
• Inspection of the mantle by a number of sections from the water surface down to the bottom.
• Inspection and cleaning of base plates.
• Inspection of pipe bushings and top nozzle.
• Review meeting and written inspection report.
